Review: Great lock body - Great lock body, very solid. Lighter than stainless or brass, but still feels very solid. Smooth operation and easy to fit an appropriate cylinder into it. As far as appropriate cylinder, there isn't much documentation available to find on it, so hopefully this helps: - Cylinder should be a half Euro Profile, size 10/30 - Cylinder should have an adjustable cam or be sticking out to the right a bit. If the cam is straight down it will not lock into the padlock body. - Cylinders from Abus have the necessary adjustable cam, Winkhaus does as well. - The Abus cylinders have a finer adjustment which allows a position that makes the lock key retaining or not, your choice. The Winkhaus cylinder has less adjustments and can only be made key retaining. There are surely others that work as well, but these are the 2 I own and can confidently comment on. This lock has spring tension on the core and the shackle, whereas the 86TI/45 does not, thought that worth mentioning as well as it is not listed in the descriptions for these products. 5/5 Would buy again

Used this with an Abus cylinder for some gates. Key jams in lock Cylinder loose in padlock Tried WD40 to make key insertion easier...can now pull lock apart without a key!! Absolutely useless

Great lock body, very solid. Lighter than stainless or brass, but still feels very solid. Smooth operation and easy to fit an appropriate cylinder into it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solides und leichtes Schloß

Es hat gegenüber der früheren Messingversion ein wesentlich geringeres Gewicht. Man trägt es gewöhnlich nicht mit sich rum, es könnte also egal sein. Größter Vorteil, ein gewöhnlicher Halbzylinder aus einem vorhandenem Schließsystem läßt sich einbauen, rüstet die Anlage auf. Entgegen der Meinungen in den anderen Rezension läßt sich das Schloß auf Schließzwang o d e r automatisch verriegelnd (zudrücken bei Schlüssel ab) einstellen. Dazu muß man jedoch einen qualifizierten Halbzylinder besitzen! Nur der verwendete Halbzylinder entscheidet das. Das können viele Halbzylinder nicht. Wer die Bedienungsanleitung lesen kann, ist hier klar im Vorteil.
