I was excited to try it and dumped all the ingredients into the frozen bowl. I couldn't figure out why the paddle seemed too big and wouldn't turn. I quickly realized that the cream and liquid had already started freezing to the sides of the container making the diameter of the container smaller. That's what I get for not reading instructions. You have to get the paddle turning and pour the ingredients into the hole in the lid. Oh is that what the hole is for? After a good laugh and a huge mess; I completed my first attempt at making ice cream. For the price it actually works pretty well. Review: Super awesome ice cream maker!! - I’ve been wanting to try making ice cream myself for a while. Then I came across this machine which looked very promising. So I placed the order and when the order came I was very pleased with how it looked. After starting to make it I liked it more and more. I first had to freeze he metal pot in the fridge for 12 hrs. Very easy and efficient I feel. The material is stainless steel. Very strong and sturdy. Uses common home materials nothing too simple or fancy. Simple instructions manual very easy to follow. Simple and easy to clean too not too many parts or gadgets. Overall I’m super satisfied product was exactly how it was described. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07CSVFYND | | Brand | Sweet Alice | | Brand Name | Sweet Alice | | Capacity | 1.5 Liters | | Customer Reviews | 3.8 out of 5 stars 15 Reviews | | Included Components | Bowl, Dessert maker, Ice cream machine | | Material | Bpa Free | | Operation Mode | Automatic | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash | ## Images ![Ice Cream Maker, Sweet Alice 1.5 Quart Ice Cream Machine with Timer Auto Shut-off, BPA Free for Kids DIY Soft-Serve Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet Maker for Home - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71uZJNCY0zL.jpg) ![Ice Cream Maker, Sweet Alice 1.5 Quart Ice Cream Machine with Timer Auto Shut-off, BPA Free for Kids DIY Soft-Serve Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet Maker for Home - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61enHKxfzwL.jpg) ![Ice Cream Maker, Sweet Alice 1.5 Quart Ice Cream Machine with Timer Auto Shut-off, BPA Free for Kids DIY Soft-Serve Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet Maker for Home - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61tbvH7uIqL.jpg) ![Ice Cream Maker, Sweet Alice 1.5 Quart Ice Cream Machine with Timer Auto Shut-off, BPA Free for Kids DIY Soft-Serve Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet Maker for Home - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Dhf35b6vL.jpg) ![Ice Cream Maker, Sweet Alice 1.5 Quart Ice Cream Machine with Timer Auto Shut-off, BPA Free for Kids DIY Soft-Serve Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet Maker for Home - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/812lZUqDlVL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Read the instructions before finding reasons that it doesn't work LOL *by T***N on July 22, 2022* I bought this ice cream maker because of the price.
