They were pretty easy to fit and require an ES screw-fitting bulb (standard-sized screw fitting) 60 watts max. I had been used to wall lights in the same positions, with 2 bulbs, so as these new wall lights have only 1 bulb they are a little dimmer than I was used to. However, the wall lights look good, they glow on the wall cosily and if you want a reading light then it's best to use a lamp as well. The only thing I was surprised about was the size, even though I had measured the space etc. I didn't really realise they would look so large on the wall. To my mind they are a little noticeable & need a big room to carry them off.
