**Q: my thermost is 71/2wx51/2hx21/2d what kind of thermostat do I need to fit it?**
A: This cover can support dimensions  up to: 6.5 W, 4.5H 1.75D. I just measured.

**Q: Is there an inner lip to block something from being put through the slots?**
A: No inner lip that I'm aware of. The slots are for airflow, so an inner lip would possibly reduce the thermostats ability to read the temperature.

**Q: Can the cover be forced open, I had this problem with a Honeywell box?**
A: It is obvious that anything anything can be force opened, but is this one can easily be opened once locked? The answer is definitely no. Great buy.

**Q: Is it well ventilated to prevent temperature fluctuations?**
A: It is a simple cover with adequate openings for room air to get through. The purpose of the cover is to prevent someone from changing the thermostat settings in my case my young son. The cover has no effect on thermostat performance (neither positive or negative)
