I use mine to host pi.hole - an excellent, open-source advertising and tracking blocker. This kit allowed me to place the Pi Zero behind my router and power it from the built-in USB port. All ads and tracking are now blocked for every device on my network. I can imagine dozens more use cases for such a tiny, low-powered unit, including a VPN, NAS or doorbell security - this would be easy with the included case covers, one of which has cut-out specifically for a Pi camera.
