The phone works well with the screen protector, it's responsive and you forget that it's there. I had a false sense of security. I dropped the phone today, bottom front side first. The tempered glass cracked slightly, but my phone screen cracked halfway up the phone, under the less damaged "protective" glass. I think the phone hit in the space where the glass is short of the edge. Not a great choice. However if you don't mind the marks on your screen, then its ok.
