They seem generally well made and I would have given them five stars except for they are let down by a couple of issues. Firstly, they were covered in a storage grease (not unusual for gym weight plates presumably to stop them rusting), but since they are rubber ended, it makes them difficult to clean up and even after washing with hot soapy water, they are still leaving slug trails wherever they have been. However, my main issue with them though is that the knurling on the handles is far too course and sharp (from worn factory tooling?) which unnecessarily carves up my hands even with gym gloves on which also snag on the knurling.
