It is beautiful. It is heavier weight than my other chenille bedspreads. It washed well and looked fluffy but had a lot more lint than the others. I think 2 washings and drying will get rid of the lint.

I love it, although I've not laundered it yet and I know how chenille sheds. The color was true as advertised. It isn't as heavy as some and I like that. It's on a cream colored bed and looks amazing. The only parts that touch the floor a little are the foot ends but that wouldn't be so if my mattress were thicker.I would purchase it again. I have a dog and two cats so at night I pull it way down from the top and cover it so I don't have to launder it so much. It was a good purchase.

The color is a pale lemon color, warming the area but nor shouting “YELLOW!”.The throw is lightweight and the chenille is thick enough to add depth.I also purchased four matching pillow shams.Although the spread is meant for a bed, I am using it to cover a twin daybed. The pattern of the medallions is therefor not centered, however the pattern is subtle and does not draw attention to this.The daybed is in an alcove. The gentle yellow does not make the room shrink.I really like the wat it turned out.

This is exactly as advertised. It is very pretty and the size seems fine (to the floor all around). I have old school beds so if you use taller mattresses it may not reach because it was still about 3 inches to the floor on my bed. We will see how it last but as the beds I am putting them get little use, it is fine for what I need. I got the twin ivory. The areas where there is not chenille are quite thin. With the ivory color you cannot have a patterned sheet with any color or it shows through. I worry about it holding up with a lot of use but they also may be thin and strong and long lasting. Time will tell. Overall I am pleased with my purchase as a higher thicker quality would be substantially more expensive.

They add a classic charm to any room. I am using them on my bed because I have fringed bedspread. The material is substantial. I put them in the dry for a few minutes to get rid of lint before using.I haven't washed them yet so I cannot attest to how the fringe will hold up, but I plan on using a garment bag or hand washing to preserve them.

I like the color, size, weight and softness. However, it leaves lint all over the place. Have washed it quite a few times and still getting a full lint catcher on my dryer and lint on my sheets and through my bedroom.

I ordered the queen Ivory - the color is perfect. I was a little hesitant about ordering the Ivory thinking it may have too much of the yellow hints to it - but it pairs wonderful with white as well - has a very cozy feeling to the eye - I think the white would have been too stark. However, the queen size does not go to the floor - maybe 8-10" from floor which for me was ok because I have a charcoal gray bed skirt underneath (please note that my bed is pretty high of the floor). If you want it to the floor order a king. The main material is a muslin cotton and very thin - like a cotton sheet - which would also allow any colored or printed bedding to show thru (I have white summer quilt underneath so no problem) so therefore I cant imagine there being any warmth to it- which again was fine with me - as I never use my main bedding as covers - I do have a sheet and summer white quilt underneath. Instructions state to place cover and matching shams in fluff mode of dryer - which I did for 25 minutes (then you will want to empty your lint tray as you do get a lot of lint) - and I repeated this process for a total of 3 times (be sure to empty the lint tray each time- the chenille fluffed up nicely and afterwards I did sit on it with black pants - and did not notice any lint on my pants. Please note that if you are looking for a chenille bedding cover just like your grandmother had - this is NOT that one - Those Chenille bedding covers were heavy - this one is as light as a sheet - but living in Houston TX its perfect for our year round weather. Also, if you were to use it as a cover, I do believe it would be wrinkly often - but a quick trip to fluff cycle of the dryer would fix that. Other than this, I am pleased with this purchase as it pairs perfectly with my freshly painted gray walls and new ivory and gray rug with my antique lace curtains. I also mixed in some white/gray snow leopard print fur pillows with light gray round velvet chenille throw pillows and a matching snow leopard print fur throw at the foot of the bed and my whole family loves the new look. I am thrilled with it!!!!

Very pretty - ordered the ivory. Before using, I put it in the dryer to remove excess lint as another reviewer recommended. Looks great especially if you like a vintage look. Wish the ivory was a little creamier in color. It looks more like an off white.

I'm very glad I purchased this chenille bedspread. They're hard to find and this one is not that extremely heavy chenille but as far as I can tell, it's pretty good quality. The thing I like the most is that having carefully measured the sides and width of my double (full) bed, this fits perfectly. I have not fluffed it up yet but look how lovely it looks. I did not order the shams; I think the price of the shams is a blatant ripoff and I refuse to pay the same amount for two shams as the price of a double bedspread. I did, however, order some pillow cases to keep within the white, clean look I was going for and again--'have not washed them yet but they're so soft and a lovely size. Bamboo is wonderful. All things considered, a success!

This bedspread is fabulous. It’s not overly heavy but it’s just perfect. I have a queen bed but bought a king and it goes right to the floor. I also have the two pillow shams and they were very generous in size, beautiful quality.

This throw is very pretty and in my view more for decoration than for comfort or warmth. I did keep it because it looks lovely at the bottom of my bed.
