But, within the 30 day return window, the unit stopped working and wouldn't even power up. I returned it and looking to see if some other company provides a more reliable unit. ### ⭐⭐ Started to skip tracks… *by on Reviewed in the United States February 27, 2026* Update 4/11/26The transport is still showing signs of skipping tracks and will not read some of my CDs. Even when skipping tracks to go to a certain track. The transport will not read and will just stop. I did a tear down and see if the parts are indeed genuine Sanyo/Phillips and couldn’t verify. Looks like an aftermarket cheap laser pick up parts that they use for the transport, hence the quality is not good at all and will deteriorate quickly. Even with normal use. I ordered a genuine Sanyo SF HD850 DVM34 and will see if it makes a difference. For now I am using a TEAC PD 301 X and even after a couple months. Still going strong, with no signs of skipping tracks and will read all of my audio CD collection. 2 stars for the solid metal casing but otherwise. It’s Crap!Update 3/5/26I emailed Shanling support team about the skipping issue and they’re quick with a response and send me a small update to fix the issue and so far so good. After having the CD transport for over a month now. It’s starting to skip tracks. It wasn’t like that before… Clearly there’s some quality issues about the components used to build this unit. The housing is top notch but the inside parts are something to be worried about. I’m hoping for a firmware update to somehow solve this problem. So buyers beware. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/680423004-shanling-cr60-digital-transport-cd-ripper-black](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/680423004-shanling-cr60-digital-transport-cd-ripper-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
