Featuring dual-surface multi-coating for reduced reflections and enhanced light transmission, it’s ideal for infrared film photography, medical imaging, vegetation analysis, and creative effects when combined with other filters. Lightweight and durable, this filter enables handheld IR photography without the need for tripods, making it a must-have for serious photographers seeking to explore the invisible spectrum.

## Description

Product Description These filters offer both amateur and professional photographers HOYA's famous quality at reasonable prices. They have coatings applied to both surfaces to suppress reflection and increase light transmission. Used for photography with infrared films. lnfrared film is also sensitive to ultraviolet rays and the shorter wavelengths of the visible spectrum so it is necessary to filter out all but the infrared rays. R72 passes only infrared rays above 720nm. Often used in crime detection, medical photography, detection of distribution of vegetation, etc. In ordinary photography with infrared film or infrared color film, the Yellow (K2), Orange (G), Red (25A) and other filters can also be used to change the contrast or colour effect. Box Contains Hoya 46mm Infrared R72 Screw in Filter
