Completely satisfied with this product! - Purchased out of necessity to prevent our dog and a younger small cat from accessing the food from the side/back of the feeder while the intended cat is eating. This cover works like a charm. It fits precisely on the feeder and is easy to install. Removal for cleaning is simple by depressing the built in retaining clips and lifting the cover clear of the feeder. So far, it appears scratch resistant and cleans easily. The cover has the added benefit that it prevents splashes from wet food ending up on the wall behind the feeder. In the open position, the automatic cover for the bowl does make light contact with the device but does not appear to affect the performance of the feeder.
