Review: Pretty decent. Hits a good size niche - Short answer at the bottom. If you’re like me, you’re reading the comments here, a probably watched or are going to watch some video reviews on YT or whatever platform you use. If you do, you will see a few from Gideonssomething-oranother and chandlerssomething-oranother and a host of others. Some of these guys get a cut (pun intended) so they may be hard to trust though it seems they reviewed it mostly accurately. I don’t get anything; So let me be honest: It’s a pretty decent little knife. Worth the money? Depends. Hits a good size niche that I NEED (might not be for you). I wear medium to large gloves (right In between) and the handle fits perfectly in my hand and feels great, as it will in small or large hands, also. The knife sheath clip does in fact rattle if not attached to a belt or thick strap and while adjustability is great, it can also take a bit to figure out what position you want and there are limits. This involves unscrewing and screwing some screws a thousand times…..the hardware can be delicate, don’t force the screws. You will want to be aware of body movement in relation to the sheath clip release button. I tend to wear micro or compact (3” and under) fixed blades on the front of my belt horizontally. It’s comfortable enough to wear this scout carry without all the flopping but people are going to see it when you squat. I usually hate scout carry. The front by the buckle works great but normal vertical or cross draw will work fine (I just don’t like people seeing what I have on my belt. I am a “concealed” kind of person. The blade is SHARP, looks good, it’s decent steal and it’s been redesigned recently (made thicker in spots to reinforce the edge). I’m not going to the woods for a week with this as my main or only blade. You shouldn’t either. It’s an EDC that looks nice and is capable and/or a woods/camp knife backup to the backup. You shouldn’t ever go camping or hiking with one blade. This is obvious. Should you buy this? If you have the $64 or whatever, and this size fits a niche you need to fill? Yeah it’s a pretty damn decent knife! If you want smaller, they’re out there. I have a SwissTech leicht that I got at Walmart for $30 after tax. I use it a ton on boxes, cords, shaving wood corners some times, and it could skin small to medium game just wonderfully if the edge holds….and it has (D2). Get that for a true micro for cheap that works awesome.
Review: No negatives for the price -- really nice little knife - Didn't have any fixed-blade knives and wanted to try one, so bought this on a Prime Day deal. For what I paid, I do feel like I received a very good value and -- indeed -- a really nice, versatile little knife. It's a full tang blade with a super beefy spine. The length of the blade, to me, is just about perfect for a variety of uses -- anything from every-day use, to small game hunting, even, or perhaps even as a compact bushcraft type knife. I don't personally really do "bushcraft" type outings. My wilderness mode is more like hybrid backpacker/bushcrafter. I'm not out there building 3-room cabins from twigs and what-not :-) So for my purposes I think this knife will actually work okay. It's a tad on the heavy side for its size (the backpacker part of me is always concerned about weight), but not bad, and in a way I actually really like the feel of the moderate heft. The handle of the knife is quite nice. It's different from what I was expecting, but has a nice feel to it. The ergonomics somehow just feel "right." I also do like the sheath -- the knife definitely does lock into it very securely. The belt clip that comes attached to the sheath -- eh, not something I plan to use, but it's not terrible. As something of an "entry level" (I guess) knife, I think it will serve me just fine. I mean, I'm not one to spend 3 to 5 hundred bucks on a knife that will open some boxes and see half a dozen trips into the woods each year. Though I will say that having now held a nice (enough) fixed blade, I get the appeal of owning a really fine one. So maybe someday but in the meantime I don't know that I could've done better for well under 50 bucks.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent smaller fixed blade knife
*by J***E on January 20, 2026*

This is my second Kizer after a drop bear fix blade. This is a very nice quality and design knife. I have large hands and wanted the longer handle to get a four finger hold. It's very comfy and secure in the hand. Has an excellent blade shape and a nice kydex sheath. Kizer does D2 steel very well and this version has a PVD coating. I still think D2 is a fine option especially for smaller fixed or folding knives and is less expensive than more fashionable stainless steels. At this price point it can't be beat even if you disdain China made knives
