Right out of the box it was defective, spindle had probably half inch of play in and out. And, spindle lock did not work at all. This one has 1800 inch lbs of torque which is stronger than any other brand's impact driver (except the kobalt 24v but it's much lighter than that one) What the power means is that it will drive a large lag bolt quicker and smoother than other brands which will struggle to do the same job Don't even consider brushed version. The brushless are more powerful, more energy efficient and made in USA.
