Review: Adjustable Toilet Riser That Gave My Mother in Law Her Independence Back - We bought this riser for my mother in law after her back surgery, when the standard toilet height suddenly became a genuine daily obstacle, and it’s been one of those unglamorous purchases that quietly transformed her recovery period at home. The adjustability is what separated it from the basic risers we compared, the width settings let us fit it precisely around her toilet, and the generous height range meant we could dial in exactly the elevation her situation required, then lower it gradually as her comfort improved over the weeks, a flexibility fixed height models simply cannot offer. The armrests have proven the most valued feature in her daily reality, providing solid, confidence-inspiring leverage for lowering down and pushing back up, and the frame’s reinforced construction feels absolutely planted, no wobble, flex or shifting even with her full weight through the arms, while the rubber feet have gripped our tile floor firmly through months of daily use. The padded seat surface earns her specific praise as genuinely comfortable rather than the cold institutional plastic she dreaded, and the textured handle grips stay secure even with damp hands. Assembly was a straightforward evening job with basic tools, and the whole unit wipes clean easily, which she appreciates managing herself. Honest notes, measure your toilet and bathroom clearances carefully before ordering since the frame adds real footprint around the bowl. The height adjustment pins want firm seating at each change. And the institutional appearance, while improved by the padding, is still visibly an aid, a tradeoff for the function. For restoring dignified, independent bathroom use during recovery, this has been genuinely invaluable for our family and I’d recommend it.
Review: Very adjustable and works well - The workmanship is excellent, adjustable and durable. The product quality is good, with sturdy materials. I am very satisfied. It is very sturdy, easy to assemble, and very comfortable to use. The delivery speed is extremely fast. I just had a total knee replacement surgery, and this product has become my most reliable helper in the bathroom. It is very stable, with a wide width when unfolded, and can remain stable even when raised. This product is truly outstanding and feels much better. I highly recommend this product to the elderly, people who have undergone surgeries, and others.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and adjustable!
*by H***E on June 2, 2025*

This Agrish Raised Toilet Seat with Handles is an absolute must-have for anyone who needs extra support in the bathroom, especially seniors or those recovering from surgery. It’s worth every penny for the comfort, stability, and thoughtful design it offers. **What stands out:** FSA/HSA Eligible:Huge bonus! I used my FSA account to purchase this, which made the buying process super simple and budget-friendly. Exceptional Comfort: The padded seat is far superior to hard plastic risers. It’s soft, supportive, and comfortable enough to sit on for extended periods, which really matters for anyone with mobility issues. Strong & Sturdy Build:With a solid aluminum frame supporting up to 350 lbs, it feels completely secure. No wobbling or shifting. Adjustable Height:Being able to adjust the height from 18" to 22" means it fits most toilets and user needs. It’s made a big difference for someone in my family recovering from hip surgery. Safe, Non-Slip Handles:The foam-covered handrails provide excellent grip and peace of mind when standing or sitting. They’re comfortable to hold and very secure. Thoughtful Extras: The built-in toilet paper holder and side pouch are incredibly convenient—small touches that make a big difference for independence and ease of use. **A few notes:** * Make sure to measure your bathroom space. The handle width ranges from 22.5" to 28", and the seat itself is 16" wide. It's a larger footprint but well worth it for the safety and comfort. Bottom Line: Whether for seniors, post-op recovery, or those with limited mobility, this raised toilet seat is one of the best on the market. Easy to assemble, very sturdy, and packed with practical features—highly recommended!
