BUT, I've had great many problems over the years with the hoe coming loose from the handle when in use and slipping towards the user - very, very, very frustrating! I've finally solved this nuisance just recently by doing the following: a) saw off a small section in the middle at the handle end so as to drive a wooden wedge into the sawn-off gap once the hoe is fitted on it. b) drill a hole through the top of the hoe and screw a thick screw through it into the wooden handle. c) turn the tool over to let it stand vertically and further drive in a couple of metal wedges around the circumference of the wooden handle where there may still be some small gaps. The hoe is now permanently fixed onto the handle! **Q: Is there a way to keep the head attached to the handle as I see some reviews mention it keeps slipping?** A: Yes, I have found that the hoe moves around when hoeing. If you are handy then you can hammer wedges between the handle and the hoe. This works. If the handle dries out during the hot summer and it shrinks again you can add another wedge. The actual hoe is good quality but if you are not a handy person then I wouldn’t recommend you buying it. **Q: How heavy is the head?** A: Mornign Mrs Lewis. The head is 1.5kg.
