Review: Easy to install and has long range - I have an equipment pole barn that is 350' from my T-Mobile WiFi Modem/Router. I installed this range extender to enable the use of a security camera at the pole barn, allowing me to monitor my equipment. I installed it as an AP, and it was surprisingly easy to install since it does not need A/C power at the device. The range is very good.
Review: Great performance but runs HOT ~100 degrees! - Took a while to set up...as I was using the wrong example. Once set up - the difference was incredible! Coverage to my 4 wireless devices (all cameras) went from low/weak to STRONG! Only issue I have is...heat! Even in a cool ambient environment (70 degrees) the surface temp on the device was ~100 degrees (F). Anyone else experience this?
