Review: Easy drive replacement for large battery wall clocks - This kit replaced the failed movement for our 25-inch diameter wall clock. The only adjustment I had to make was to snip an inch off the pointer end of the minute hand. Replacement took about 15-20 minutes total; required only an 11 mm box wrench, and works well. **Q: My clock face is thin galvanized, will this work?**
A: Before you order: make sure of the diameter of your clock hole will accept this size. Also, measure your clocks face for use of this size hands. My first mechanized package didn’t work. If you like your clock, try it.

**Q: I have a mini Windmill that will be a clock. The center hole has a diameter of 1.25 inches, will the case/shaft secure properly with this size hole?**
A: Trying to put pic on here. Guess not possible. My wall clock is 28" wide total width. The hole in the center is less than 1/2". Probably closer to 1/4".
My guess is I am not understanding the question. Sorry.

**Q: Does this clock replace the Youngstown 12888?**
A: Make sure of your measurements, there are different models for the 12888, we found out the hard way.

**Q: Looking for a 21 in pendulum**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Movement worked, but hands scuffed/scratched

I've replaced a number of these type of clock movement's the past few years, and this one worked well. However, one caveat, this one appeared to be a return as the hands were scuffed/scratched on the front painted surfaces, and the items in the box, which appeared to have been resealed, were scattered around and not packed securely as they should be. That being said, since I didn't need the hands, just the movement, all worked well. I'm always a little disappointed when you buy something new, and it isn't really "new", but repackaged, and badly at that....probably a return that wasn't checked out very well by Amazon.
