I have very dark brown hair so I was worried about white/gray residue on my hair. What I do now is spray the dry shampoo on before bed. Not only does it give the shampoo lots of time to soak up the oils but it also works out of my hair a little. In the morning I just brush out my hair and there is no white/gray residue and my hair feels almost freshly washed! **Q: Does this weigh down curly hair?** A: I've only used it when my hair was straightened, but I don't think it's going to weigh down your hair. When my hair looks flat/heavy/oily and I use the dry shampoo, it goes back to having some volume and life. **Q: I have very bright red hair (fire engine red not hair red) - would this product change the color or fade it?** A: I don't know, actually, I purchased the brown tinted one, I have dark brown hair, so you definitely don't want to use that one. I would try the regular one and just not spray it very close, hold the bottle about 1 foot from your head to avoid excess product being sprayed. As far as changing or fading the color, I don't think it would, it is just powder that you are spraying on. It washes off really easily, so you don't have to worry about excessive scrubbing and risk washing the color off. I would just be sure that you use the proper shampoo to maintain the color, and don't wash it as often since red is very hard to maintain. Glaze it about every 2 to 3 weeks to keep the color vibrant. **Q: Does the Blonde version actually add color or does it bring out your natural blonde color?** A: It's still powdery. It adds a matte look to your hair.
