I just plug it into the USB and recorded a CD with iTunes. The quality of the recording was good, actually better than I thought it would be. There is one complaint I have that keeps me from giving it a 4, but it is certainly not a deal breaker. I found that if I left it to record and then came back later the CD would not eject. All I had to do with unplug it and plug it back in, and it worked fine. Thank you!I bought this so that I could play DVDs on my tablet and it doesn't work. All it did was sit there and whir over and over. I tried multiple DVDs and none of them would play. It not, however, work when plugged into one of my USB 3.0 ports. The light would come on and then it would constantly try to read a disc. I t also never showed up in the system. After a few minutes windows 10 would inform me that the device could not be registered and flagged it as a defective device.
