Well made , and compact, holds enough line and some tackle to make this a good kit for your backpack !

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product but I think there is a better option

I purchased both the k-bar fishing system (on left) and the 2.0 backing survival fishing kit (on the right). First of all, I wouldn’t describe either one of them as a a system or a kit. Neither one of them comes with fishing line, hooks, bobbers, lures, ect. A more accurate description would be to call them a hand reel. For the purpose of using them as a hand reel for your compact fishing system or kit they both will work. The k-bar is slightly more compact. Other than that I think all the advantages go to the 2.0 - it’s a few dollars cheaper, comes with a wrist lanyard, has finer threads for more security of the thread on reel, and has about 3/4” more storage space in the handle.
