The only real difference is that this one has a bigger screen, and shows you your estimated time to sober on the unit itself without having to pull up the companion cell phone app (which I also LOVE, and which works with both units). For the price and size difference, I'm not sure that I really care. And the C8 is a little less quick to use for it - you have to manually turn it off after the test, or it'll be ~40 seconds of telling you stuff on the screen before it shuts off on its own. Not a huge deal, but again, for how much cheaper the C6 is, I kind of prefer that option. But all in all, if you do want that estimate, the C8 is a great option. I rated the accuracy only 4 stars because my unit seems to read a fair bit high compared to the C6 on the exact same breath, and given the circumstances I tend to trust the C6 more. I'm not sure if that's the unit itself, or my C6 being in need of calibration.
