I would find myself trying to throw together dinner or put the baby to sleep and just needed that little reminder to let me know it's time to get back to work. This is super cute I got the blue one with the gold stem because it was cheaper and totally still cute. It's a bit hefty feels like painted wood, it can also double as a paper weight.Overall I love it and it's easy to use! All I have to do is wind it to the time I require and it starts counting down. It can get a bit annoying because you can here the ticker as its counting. Plus the bell it uses to alert you the time is up can be a bit quiet but it gets the job done for me I would recommend this but if you need something extra loud this may not be for you.
