I am very picky about the consistency and smell (hopefully a lack thereof) of moisturizing products and this hydration moisture balm is exactly what I look for and so rarely find - a thick, rich, non-fragranced, non-greasy cream.Besides the consistency, I love the fact that it has hyaluronic acid in it. That's something I look for in every moisturizer because I really do sense a difference in how my skin feels when hyaluronic acid is an ingredient. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in skin, but the amount of it diminishes with age. While applying it topically is not the same thing as having it within the skin's cells, my experience with products that contain it has been very positive. Given that it helps skin retain moisture, I apply this cream after washing my face or after getting out of the shower when it can offer the most benefit in that regard. And I can both see and feel the benefits.In researching this product, I found out even more things about it to like - it is made in the US, in an FDA approved facility, by a company whose products are widely used by dermatologists.I am very happy with this balm. The ingredients are pharmaceutical grade. I did not have any reactions to using it.In actual use, the cream is thick and absorbs well into skin. It does not leave a greasy feel and does not have any unpleasant fragrance.Skin feels softer right away and stays smooth for hours.For those living in a dry or semi-arid climate, this is a must. Even in a high humidity area like mine, skin can dry out without proper maintenance - this product maintains moisture and prevents drying.
