I am old enough to have owned the grey one as the original size in the 90s and love the memories. Honestly I seem to be the most excited about it out of anyone I have shown them to but they're probably just jealous of my cool toy. The water tanks are a bit small but of course the guns are small. You probably get 3-4 decent little squirts before running out. Mine shoot at most like 12-15 feet despite them advertising 18 feet. They probably can do that but it depends how hard you push the pump and I dont want to break them. The rod for the pump does look to be a little piece of metal and not plastic though so it seems pretty sturdy for pumping. Finally they are just a bit bigger than I expected. The body of the green and blue one is a few cm bigger than a Bic lighter with the white barrel tip going out a little further.
