The settings did not need changing from the factory default. Unit is fitted on the roof of a garage with no natural light so it being used to switch on/off an LED courtesy light. Instant response when you open the door and shuts off once the main light is switched on or remains on as long as it detects movement. I liked that this is a European brand (made in China) as there are a lot of low cost products around and I distrust cheapo electrical products with Chinese names but no contact point. Review: Works well - I bought this PIR to drive a couple of LED batten lights in my garage. The item was delivered the next day and I installed it within an hour. The installation was straightforward and only required a screwdriver and some step ladders. Adjustments for the lux point at which the device would activate and the length of time that it would remain active were straightforward. I couldn't wait for nightfall so that I could go and see what difference it has made. Of course, it's early days yet. If any issues arise I will update this review. Only thing I found was the mounting holes in the unit did not match a 20mm conduit box and the cable entry holes were outside of the diameter as well. To be fair, the item was sold as documented as being designed to mount onto a finished ceiling only.
