The new hammock arrived and so far it has not broken with the wife and I laying on the hammock. The hammock even held when our daughter's husky dog jumped up on us to lay in the hammock with us. The three of us would have been over the 450 pounds, so that was nice that the hammock did not fail. I recommend this hammock for anyone who is looking for two person hammock. The customer service for me was outstanding and that is a really big plus and is rare now a days. It's a little long for my stand but I made it work. My older kids used it a lot the first weekend and the seem holding the bars in came apart on both sides. Not sure if there is any way to fix this.
