Review: Vastly improved the quality of our water. - We are on a municipal water supply, and the chlorine odor and taste seemed to become much stronger in the past few weeks, so I decided it was time to install an under-counter water filter. The installation process was pretty simple and just about anyone who has installed a faucet should be able to intall this filter if they read and follow the directions. All of the necessary hardware was included, along with more than enough plastic tubing to make the needed connections. Only basic wrenches are needed to tap into the cold water line, like those that you would need to install any water line fitting. The tubing that connects the cold-water supply to the filter, and the filter to the spigot use pex-style fittings. The filter works quickly, filtering enough water for a pot of coffee in a few seconds. These are so much better than pitcher-style filters. The replacement cartridges are also very inexpensive, so I ordered an extra set to have on hand, and set up am desertcart subscription purchase for every 6 months, so when the new filter cartidges arrive I know it is about time to replace them.
