The patented Dynastar universal step up/step down voltage converter and transformer is designed to keep you powered up no matter where you are in the world. Easily calculate the wattage of your appliances by following the handy guide below. Comes with 2 spare fuses for backup, and a Euro Schuko plug adapter to convert smaller electronics Heavy duty extra durable lifetime coil makes the converter and transformer safe for continuous use. Multiple appliances can be used with the same transformer, as long as wattage capacity is not exceeded Works for virtually any plug from anywhere in the world, with the exception of US 220/240 volt outlets (usually found on commercial products like washers and dryers) Five year limited manufacturer warranty HOW DO YOU KNOW WHICH CONVERTER YOU NEED? Check the total wattage consumed by your electrical devices and multiply that number by 3. You need a converter at least 3x the watts of the devices to leave enough room for surges in power they may utilize. To determine the correct wattage allowance of the voltage converter/transformer you need, first identify the wattage of the electronic devices or appliances you plan to use. This information can be found on the manufacturer's label located on the back or bottom of the device or appliance, or in the specifications section of the appliances' owner's manual. Note: Watts may be listed as "W" on your appliance. If you can't find "Watts" or "W" on the label, you may find "Amps," also known as "amperage" or "A". Review: Singer Featherweight 222K - I bought the 500w model to use with my Singer Featherweight 222K sewing machine. Call me a purist, but I wanted to use the machine as it was originally made and not converted to US power. The instructions say to figure 3x the watts needed, so I got the 500w model. Received item unharmed, read instructions, and plugged it up. Works well. It has a low humming noise, but not noticeable while on the floor in use. I only plug it in when using it, otherwise keep it unplugged. This brand was the only one I found with a good warranty. It may be a few dollars more, but considering the item I'm using it with, it's definitely worth it. Highly recommend to my Facebook friends in the Feathweight group page, as well as anyone looking to use with a precious Featherweight.

I bought the 500w model to use with my Singer Featherweight 222K sewing machine. Call me a purist, but I wanted to use the machine as it was originally made and not converted to US power. The instructions say to figure 3x the watts needed, so I got the 500w model. Received item unharmed, read instructions, and plugged it up. Works well. It has a low humming noise, but not noticeable while on the floor in use. I only plug it in when using it, otherwise keep it unplugged. This brand was the only one I found with a good warranty. It may be a few dollars more, but considering the item I'm using it with, it's definitely worth it. Highly recommend to my Facebook friends in the Feathweight group page, as well as anyone looking to use with a precious Featherweight.

I recently bought a used electric massage table that was made it Europe and so ran off of 220 instead of the American 110. The people that I bought it from only had a plug adapter for it. I didn't want to burn out the engine and without a step up transformer, the table raised and lowered very slowly. As soon as I got this and plugged it in, the table worked fine. A good buy for the money.
