I have a couple of conventional optics from Athlon, their customer service has been great and the optics are phenomenal, especially for the price. This unit is light, almost like a normal scope, which was very surprising as my older night vision optics are like anchors. The menu functions are easy to access, the app seems intuitive, and there are several great reticle style and color options that should make it easy for just about anyone to use. One tip, to register the 5 year warranty, it states that the serial number is "on the bottom of the optic", which is not exactly true. The serial number tag is actually on the inside of the forward objective lens cover. The barcode on the serial sticker does not take you to their registration site, nor does it populate the number in the online form, so be prepared to magnify it to make it easier to enter.
