They are very light and can be hung with removable hooks. I chose the command hooks with a 2-pound weight limit and they worked nicely.If you choose to use live plants (I used silk flowers) I would suggest using a stronger support. The basket itself is very bendable and easily breakable. I actually needed to replace two of them because they arrived bent and broken. But the replacement came the very next day.
