My only reservation about the black/black flocking fabric is that the flocking grabs on most fabrics when you wear that side in, so I hardly ever get to wear the smooth fabric on the outside. Otherwise, the design is super and the coat is well-crafted.Update 11/10/13: I'm downgrading from 4 to 3 stars. The last time I wore this in fairly heavy rain, my shoulders were soaked -- absolutely no protection. Really only useful for mist or light precipitation. The flocking problem is still annoying. It's attractive, but there are better coats for keeping water off you. ### ⭐ Disappointed *by T***R on December 21, 2013* ordered this to replace an older style after I lost it, returned this coat immediately. The new hood is small, skimpy, kind of ugly, the raincoat itself is much more skimpy. The older style was glamorous with a larger hood, pretty enough to wear out to the theater at night or to formal occasions, the new raincoat is less than ordinary.
