They did the job. The sound they make when they deploy leaves no doubt that they hit their mark. I think my main frustration was operator error. You have to get the retention collars just right to keep the blades from accidently deploying. Had two deploy during the course of 10 days before I figured out what I was doing wrong. On the plus side they fly almost identical to my field tips. So close that I didn't even bother adjusting my site. My first experience with mechanicals and I will probably continue to use them for the rest of the year. My only critique would be that they need to specify a little more noticeably these require the Deep Six inserts in your arrows.
