In place of traditional halogen bulbs this light uses two seven watt LED bulbs producing a very white beam with a color temperature of 6000 Kelvin. Polycarbonate and aluminum housing with a high strength poly lens. The kit come complete with two LP 560 driving lights, pre-wired harness with fuse and switch, and two black mesh style grill guards. With the popularity of the 3" LP 530 and the 7" LP 570, PIAA wanted to complete the line with the 6" LP 560 high intensity LED driving lights. Review: Nice driving light at a reasonable price. - I installed an aev bumper on my 2018 ram 2500 and it didn’t look right with the blank light covers that came with it. So I knew I wanted some kind of 6in led light to fit the light bezels. I’m not running the Baja 1000, and have never found much use for aux lighting. I didn’t want to spend $1200 on lights, but I also didn’t want to buy cheap lights that would frost up or quit working in a year or so. After scouring the internet I settled on these. I’m very happy with them so far. They seemed to be built well. Nice wiring harness/relay/switch came with the lights. They are definitely brighter than my high beams, they do an excellent job of lighting up deer far ahead of where my headlights will. Overall they are a good light for $210. Review: Good Lights, Crap Mounting Bracket. - I've owned a number of PIAA lights (motorcycles, pre-runners, off-road vehicles), so this isn't my first rodeo. First, the good: Bright lights, good beam pattern, housing robust. It gets three stars because of the weak composite fiber-infused base. Unless you are trying to protect a finish, I'd rec you not use the thin rubber pad that comes with these lights. The base area around the bolt or the mounting surface (especially if slotted) can easily slice through the rubber pad. This creates upward forces on the ends of the base. As a result, the bolt area of the base breaks. In my case, the mounting bolt/nut was far from over over tightened. A real catch 22. Tighten it just enough so the light doesn't move and you risk breaking the crappy base, but a little looser and the light moves. NOT Baja worthy by any stretch, but cost like it is. I would have scored it lower, but one of the two lights hasn't broken yet. Awful pricey light, and well made, but PIAA really cheaped out on the mounting base. Come on PIAA! I'll have to fab my own mounts if I wish to use these. I should have gone with Hella, but I was looking for this particular size to fill a rather precise cutout.
