I get alot of compliments at work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A heavy and well made, quartz time piece. *by G***T on March 14, 2025* I am very pleased with the look and feel of the OLEVS Men's Stainless Steel Chronograph Watch. This watch not only has an elegant and formal look to it, it is also heavy like many of the better made watches such as a high end name brand divers watch I have had for decades. I had to edit my review to include that this is a Quartz watch that requires a battery. But I have found no markings on the watch or in the instruction manual on what battery type it takes, or how to change it. For this reason I am downgrading my review to four stars.A quartz movement based watch is generally considered very accurate and I found this to be the case with this watch as well. Comparing it with my satellite updated time on cellular devices, I have yet to see any deviation in staying accurate. I don't expect I'll be late to meetings or appointments while wearing the OLEVS.The face of the OLEVS watch has a very sophisticated look to it, and if you look closely, you can actually see the diamond inlays in many of the hour Roman numberals. In direct sunlight, this watch really stands out. And at night, there is enough luminescence to clearly read the hour and minutes in the dark. I also like the recessed sub-dials that show seconds, minutes and 24 hour time. These dials correspond to the stop watch function which is more of a gimmick in my opinion, and give a rough estimate of elapsed time...certainly useful for certain time measured events, but less useful where precise timing is needed. Still a nice feature.The OLEVS Men's Stainless Steel Chronograph Watch also comes with a tool for adjusting the band length, which I immediately needed to do as I have a bit smaller wrist than how the band was preset from the factory. The process is fairly easy if you know what you are doing and take your time. The included instructions touch upon this procedure in an understandable method, but a lot of the instructions appear to be oriented toward a variety of watches instead of just one specific model. This is rather confusing since there are instructions for both an automatic watch and a quartz watch.The claim is that this watch is water resistant to 30m but isn't suitable for swimming or bathing which is ok for me as I feel this watch is more of a formal attire timepiece rather than something you would wear for every activity. I can see this watch being worn to social events but not being worn while working on your vehicle or performing duties where you know you are going to get dirty. I feel that I will get a lot of use from the formal occasion settings than anything else.Overall I really like this watch and can't wait to go out into public and seeing what kind of looks and comments I receive. It's a very eye catching time piece, certainly better quality than what you might find in the same price point.
