The case comes level with the camera to protect it from scratches. I haven't dropped it with the case on yet (knock on wood), but I believe this case would act as a nice bumper. Also, the package truly does come with two cases. This is nice because I was able to put my pop socket and wallet pocket on one, and leave the other one normal so I can switch beteen looks effortlessly.
