I previously owned a similar machine from another brand but gave it to my sister for a party and haven’t seen it since ha. I decided to give this one an go because of the price but straight out of the box, I was impressed. It looks great on the countertop and takes up surprisingly little space compared to some bulkier models. They say it’s about 6 minutes to kick out some ice and I would say that’s pretty accurate although I didn’t sit there with a timer, and the option of two ice sizes is a really nice touch. I usually go for the large ones for my iced coffee but will definitely make use of the small for cocktails. The self-cleaning mode is a total win for someone who doesn’t want to faff around with maintenance. Now, yes, you do have to empty the basket fairly often – but to be fair, that’s just how these compact machines work.
