I wanted it to hold a sandwich, and also be a place mat for my child's school lunch. When I received it, I washed it by hand in warm water, and the dye in the lady bugs ran and stained the rest of the cloth pink. It was still usable, though. But now, after repeated washings (by hand, in warm water, line dried) the printed fabric has shrunk while the waterproof lining has not. This makes the wrap difficult to use because the velcro doesn't line up well anymore, and the sides curl up so it won't lay flat to use as a place mat.
