I'm using a 24w nail lamp, but it's taking about 15 minutes under it with a very thin coat** A: I use a 54w lamp for about 12 min then put in direct sunlight. There are much bigger lamps just for curing. Nail lamps are ok, but just don't have the power needed for thicker applications. Hope this helps. **Q: Using it to coat photos in tiny frames, do i still need a lamp? i used to use dg3 art gel, but cant find it** A: Yes you need a lamp or put it out in the sun for I believe an hour. You can get a nail drying lamp for next to nothing. Hope this helps. **Q: Using this for fly fishing fly's.
