We were filling glass jugs and putting the glass jugs into the fridge anyway so I bought a galley sink faucet and ran the line from the basement up to the kitchen sink and blammo, purified water on tap and at a fraction of the cost. No more making runs to the basement to fill the glass jugs! The pump is a bit noisy even with the rubber mounts, maybe mount it to something that isn’t part of the homes structure?

Picture an old man trying to lift a 5 gallon jug above his head; yeah not so fun! I got this pump to save my back from lifting jugs up on top of the cooler! We were filling glass jugs and putting the glass jugs into the fridge anyway so I bought a galley sink faucet and ran the line from the basement up to the kitchen sink and blammo, purified water on tap and at a fraction of the cost. No more making runs to the basement to fill the glass jugs! The pump is a bit noisy even with the rubber mounts, maybe mount it to something that isn’t part of the homes structure?
