They're a little heavy, and I had to gently bend the arms toward my head to hold up better. They tend to slide down your nose, but I think I can find some "nose stick" (whatever that's called) to help keep from sliding. The function (rotating the external lens) makes the polarization adjustable from almost none, to almost "look at a solar eclipse" darkness (I do not recommend you use these for a solar eclipse). They DO cut glare. My ophthalmologist thought they were cool, and ok for my post-cataract surgery use. And, a friend who's going to Burning Man thought they were cool also.
