Review: Love this IHome!!! - This is my second IHome - I have had my other IHome since they first made it like 20 years ago and it still works - the reason I’m upgrading is because of the phone charger doesn’t fit the newer iPhones to charge my phone. However it still works perfectly!!!! So I bought this new IHome! ******This isn’t as bad as the previous reviews say!!!! So, I am not sure where most people are having issues with this alarm clock. I LOVE IT. I received this product yesterday. Upon opening the box, it was exactly as listed. I’ve seen many reviews talking about it was confusing to set up. If you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS STEP BY STEP, it’s a piece of cake. Had it set up in a matter of minutes. Relatively easy beings the “clock set” button is located directly on the back. The blue tooth pair without an issue. The clock display is very bright and easy to read. Setting the alarms, also, no hassle at all as long as you read the instructions. The 2 alarms woke me up perfectly!! The charger didn’t take anything special. Without a case it picked up my phone instantly. We tried my husbands phone which has a life proof case on and had to slowly move it around until it picked up the phone. If you take a realistic approach you won’t have an issue with this alarm clock. READ the instructions and know if something is in the way, the charger either will need to find the phone if at all if you charge your phone using the wireless charge option. A case MAY hinder the wireless charging. If anything changes, I will update my review but so far this is been a nifty alarm clock. Thank you!!!
Review: Excellent alarm clock! Love it so far! - I’ve only had this alarm clock for one day, but so far it seems to be an excellent alarm clock. I just wanted to write this review in response to other reviews I’ve read saying that the sound of the speakers is very quiet. I will agree that if you simply turn the volume up on the alarm clock to the very top level at 40, it does seem only moderately loud. But, if you also turn up the volume on your phone (or other device) the sound gets significantly louder. It can actually get to a very blasting sound if you make sure to turn up the sound on both the alarm clock and on your phone or other device. I just thought this might help some people if they are worried about the speakers being too quiet. Personally, I think the sound is great quality and I will definitely enjoy being able to play music in my room while I’m doing other things, or to wake up to in the morning 🙂. Aside from that, the instructions are very clear and it is very easy to set the time and date and the two alarms, and to pair the Bluetooth. It also has a switch on the back that allows you to set it to automatic adjustment for daylight savings time. And it has a USB charging port in the back in case you want to plug in another device and save yourself the need to plug another cord into a wall socket. The wireless charging works perfect for me so far. I have a case on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and it has no problem charging with the case on. It’s not an extremely thick case but it’s meant to be a very protective case if you drop your phone, and I have dropped my phone many times with no damage. So it’s not the thickest case ever (not like OtterBox Defender cases I’ve had before) but also not a very thin case either. If I have any updates to this review as I continue to use the alarm, I will definitely add them here. But so far I think I will be very happy with this alarm clock and I’m glad I purchased it!

**Q: Does this display the date of selected?**
A: No. Just the time and alarm time. No date.

**Q: How do I completely remove all alarm settings? It's not working.**
A: I just turned them both off.

**Q: Will this charge a phone with a pop socket on the back?**
A: Only if it’s the new popsocket that the top twists off. To my knowledge no wireless charger will work with the old style popsocket on.

**Q: We cannot get bluetooth to connect on a consistent basis. ihome says it’s searching for devices and the device has bluetooth enabled. any advice?**
A: Your best bet is to return the device. Those are very very unreliable. We purchased two of them and neither worked correctly. I had constant problems. Trust me, return this and spend your money on something that does t say iHome on it.

### ⭐ Piece of CRAP!!

This thing is a giant piece of crap. I can never get it to fully wirelessly charge my phone. It will start charging my phone and then will stop charging it about 10 minutes in and the charging symbol will rapidly flash, indicating an issue with charging. This has caused my phone to die in the middle of the night, and I missed my alarm. Horrible product. Will never waste my money by purchasing another iPhone product again!!
