Review: Grass did not last long enough - I have a nine week old puppy and he is very small so I got him a larger size considering how small my puppy is . He is less than 4 pounds. This arrived very brown and green. I wasn’t sure given the state how long it would last but did not judge it before trying it. All the green grass that’s shown on the website does not match what I got. I followed the care to a T and noticed that within two days it had a lot of spots that the grass had wilted from the puppy pee, and by the end of the first week most of the grass is compacted and very bright and muddied. It’s right next to a window so it does get light and I would try to keep it covered overnight. It was not cut to the size of the box so my puppy would dig at the sides on occasion. I do love the booklet and the video it came with and really appreciate the care given. It did reaffirm the things we were already doing and appreciate the validation and how to care for the grass as well. It is looking like we will need to replace the grass again and it’s only been a week so we are not looking to spend $100+ a month. Our puppy did take to it almost immediately so that was wonderful and I appreciate it for that. Review: Value - Impressed with the product and execution- it’s just too expensive; IMO. We are able to go to a sod store and purchase the same size for $2.50 ## Features - THE NATURAL CHOICE: Our grass is deal for using as an outdoor or indoor puppy potty. Our real natural grass absorbs smells and eliminates odors the same way actual turf does. Our grass in a box system makes this potty solution easily disposable and gets your dog used to going to the bathroom on real grass. - DOGS LOVE IT: There's nothing that comes more naturally for your doggy than doing their business in fresh green pads of real grass. Whether you're just out working all day and they need an inside bathroom, or you need a puppy pee training box DoggieLawn is for you! - SIMPLE TO USE: Just set out your pad and encourage your dog to use it once they have to go. Then when you're out at work they'll naturally go to it when they need relief. Once it's time for a replacement just throw it in the trash or green compost bin. - ECO-FRIENDLY: Our system is completely natural, since it's real grass, and won't end up in landfills for hundreds of years like plastic pee pads! It's the easiest to clean up, easiest to use, and looks better in your home! It's an all-in-one doggy litter box that works better than other options! - YOUR DOG'S BACKYARD IN A BOX: DoggieLawn was started to help pet owners live a better life with their furry companions. No shipping for a bulk order!** A: the website says free shipping on subscription orders but this is not entirely true, the cost on amazon for the medium grass is 18.00 plus 10.00 shipping which equals 28.00. On the website you can subscribe and order the medium grass but the cost is 26.00. So if they charge 26.00 and the actual cost is 18.00 as amazon charges, then the difference of 8.00 is what you are paying the company for the shipping. Shipping is incorporated in the total cost. So shipping is not really free. **Q: Approximately how often does someone typically have to purchase a new box of grass?** A: Hello! This depends on frequency of use! We have people that purchase weekly, every two weeks, every 3 weeks etc... It just all depends on how often your dog is using the product. If this is the sole potty area for your pet we recommend getting new grass every week or every other week!- Megan **Q: Does the tray leak? If I put it on my deck will the urine leak to my downstairs neighbor or on the wood of my deck? Is it strictly inside?** A: I've had my DoggieLawn on a second floor deck for a couple months. I ordered from Amazon first to try it out which came in a cardboard tray. The cardboard tray did not leak for a couple weeks I used it. I subscribed to the biweekly shipments from DoggieLawn because it worked out well for me and my Frenchie - they sent me a plastic tray. That hasn't leaked either. **Q: how do you replace the grass and at what cost? How often on average?** A: I have had the same patch for two months. Just about to order another. The cost is the same as the original as it is all disposable. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐ Grass did not last long enough *by I***E on 23 April 2026* I have a nine week old puppy and he is very small so I got him a larger size considering how small my puppy is . We are able to go to a sod store and purchase the same size for $2.50 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Cats did not like the grass. *by M***M on 11 June 2026* We ordered this for our 3 Cats. We saw KittieLawn advertised with different sizes available. However, every time I went to order, it only showed the small size. As it was all the same company I ordered the larger 24X16 inch size. The grass arrived boxed just as you see in the photo. Grass was so beautiful it almost looked fake. However, our cats that try to escape the house to get outside to eat and roll around in the grass, wouldn't touch it. All 3 sniffed it and walked away. After a week our male cat finally laid on the grass once or twice but that was it. No one tried to eat any grass or roll around in it. Out cats take every opportunity to eat our flowers and plants, live and plastic, but would eat any grass. We even tried putting it outside and taking them out on their leashes, they still would not touch it. Not sure if DoggieLawn is different than KittieLawn, but it was not a hit with our cats. ## Frequently Bought Together - DoggieLawn Real Grass Puppy Pee Pads- 24 x 16 Inches - Perfect Indoor Litter Box for Dogs - No Mess, Easy-to-Use - Potty Training for Pets - Eco-Friendly Disposable Bathroom with Real Living Grass - DoggieLawn Non-Spill Dog Potty Training Tray - Leak-Proof HDPE Plastic Grass Pad Holder for Apartments & Urban Homes - Reusable & Washable-Perfect for Indoor Dogs & Puppies Standard (25"x16.5"x1.5") - Fresh Patch Real Grass Patch for Dogs, Cats, and Small-Medium Pets Under 15 Pounds – Disposable Pet Grass Pee Pads – Indoor and Outdoor Potty Training Mat (16 Inches x 24 Inches) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/722602772-disposable-dog-potty-real-grass-medium-24x16](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/722602772-disposable-dog-potty-real-grass-medium-24x16) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
