In the winter where I live, Wisconsin, it gets cold and almost everyone wears an insulated coat. Most of these coats are nylon. As the bag is, there is no way to keep it from sliding off your shoulder. One of the main reasons I bought it was to have my hands free while carrying groceries from the store. It's very helpful to be able to dig through a pocket searching for my keys and not having to concern myself with spilling my groceries.To solve the slippage problem I adhered a strip of rubberized drawer liner material to the cloth pad on the strap. I used a thin double-stick tape to hold it in place and have had no problems with it since November, 2018.While I know adding this feature would add to the cost of the bag, I feel it's an extremely worthwhile addition.Thanks for reading. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight and spacious *by S***Z on Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2016* The size was really great. I used it as my day-bag on a trip to Europe (but I also carried a slash-proof purse with it, sort of hidden inside). It held my North Face fleece jacket, a journal, a water bottle, and a few random small purchases (post cards, magnets, guide books). I loved the weightlessness and the storage capacity. I used this as my "personal item" on a plane instead of the typical, heavy backpack I normally take. My only complaints are 1) the plastic stopper on the cords came off, so I couldn't tighten the storage bag. 2) It ripped easily, which was surprising. I have a couple of Chico bags that are over 5 years old and never tore, but this one got a couple of small holes in it.
