Device connects only on upload; sleeps between. **Q: Can three 1.2V rechargeable AA batteries be used to power the device?** A: Not recommended. Three 1.2V rechargeable AAs may shorten battery life or prevent startup. Replace with three 1.5V non-rechargeable AAs when depleted. **Q: What is the connection range of the device?** A: Bluetooth: 49 ft (15 m); Wi-Fi: 328 ft (100 m) in open areas. For stable connection, minimize obstacles and avoid far corners. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ good quality *by on Reviewed in Saudi Arabia 17 January 2024* fast deliver ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Thermometer *by on Reviewed in the United States 26 June 2026* Easy to use and does what it's supposed to. Setting it up with Wifi was a breeze as welll.I use this in my main attic to monitor temps up there. It was especially useful when the insulation was refreshed and I wanted to make sure the soffit vents were still working as before. Turns out the company wasn't as careful as they should've been around the corners and blocked several of the vents. This thermometer told me it was 5-10 degrees hotter, so I went up to investigate. The batteries last for-e-ver! I have it set to the 1 hour reporting time. All the temp/humidity data is there, it just updates the app once an hour. Big energy saver and the original batteries lasted over 2 years. If you need a faster refresh, just enable bluetooth on your phone and it will populate the app with up to the minute data.Govee products are all over my home and they haven't disappointed yet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buena calidad *by on Reviewed in Mexico 14 July 2025* Trabaja muy bien lo utilizo para monitorear mis puros en el humidor ## Frequently Bought Together - Govee WiFi Thermometer Hygrometer H5179, Smart Humidity Temperature Sensor with App Notification Alert, 2 Years Data Storage Export, Remote Monitor for Room Greenhouse （Only Support 2.4G Wi-Fi） - Govee WiFi Thermometer Hygrometer H5103, Indoor Bluetooth Temperature Humidity Sensor with Electronic Ink Display, App Notification Alert, Free Data Storage Export, Digital Remote Monitor for Bedroom - Govee Hygrometer Thermometer H5075, Bluetooth Indoor Room Temperature Monitor Thermometer with Remote App Control, Notification Alerts, 2 Years Data Storage Export(Only Supports 164ft Bluetooth Range) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/722793194-govee-wifi-thermometer-hygrometer-smart-humidity-temperature-sensor-with-app](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/722793194-govee-wifi-thermometer-hygrometer-smart-humidity-temperature-sensor-with-app) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
