I was hoping to just keep it plugged in anyway.** A: My MX keyboard arrived this morning. It's getting dark outside and while I have lights on in the room it is becoming increasingly annoying that the backlight stays on for only around 5 seconds. My old K800 it looks like the backlight stays on for close to a minute. If you are *continuously* typing you'll probably not be bothered by this, but if you tend to type a bit - use the mouse - wait for something to happen then go back to the keyboard it will quickly get annoying. The problem isn't even that I can't see the keys - it's that it just looks dead and you're conscious of the light coming on and off instead of being conscious of what you're working on. My keyboard does stay on when plugged in but then a) it's ugly and b) the charging light flashes. Such a stupid thing not to give options for. **Q: Why there is no keyboard layout given? i suspect its us iso** A: The keyboard shown at the top of the Amazon page is an international ISO version. The keyboard that you will receive in the US is the US ANSI version shown lower on the same page under "From the manufacturer". **Q: I don't see the home and end keys on the keyboard. will i able to "type" it through key combinations?** A: Hi there, In MX Keys Mini, you can use a combination of Fn + the arrow keys to perform the “page-up” / “page-down” / “home” and “end” functions. For instance, Fn + left arrow will be home. Fn + arrow up will be page-up **Q: The mx keys have dedicated buttons that adjust external monitor brightness. where are those keys on the mx keys mini?** A: Dear customer, As MX Keys Mini has less Fn-keys than the full-size MX Keys, the team had to make a difficult choice. The decision was to remove the monitor brightness adjustment and to keep keyboard backlight adjustment. One way to quickly adjust screen brightness on Windows 11 is to press “Windows start key + A” to open the Quick settings panel and adjust screen brightness on the slider. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really awesome keyboard for developers *by on Reviewed in the United States 12 May 2024* I've been doing software development for three decades and this is by far the best keyboard I've ever owned. The best way I can describe the MX Keys Mini is that it's... smooth. The key response is exactly what I'm looking for, with just the right amount of travel and push required. It's pretty quiet while typing - very similar in feel to what you'd get on a good laptop keyboard. The battery life is plenty good - while I can't *quite* make it two weeks on a charge (usually need a charge a day or two before two full weeks), if I charge this up every weekend I'm good for the upcoming week, and I can typically get to a full charge in less than an hour.Bluetooth setup is a breeze and connectivity has been solid. I've been using this keyboard for five months now without a single drop or connectivity issue. The delay when hitting the keyboard for the first time (I assume it "sleeps" in some fashion) is barely noticeable. The unit itself has some "heft" to it - it just feels well-made and solid.Overall, I can't think of a thing I'd actually change on this keyboard. There are cheaper keyboards out there, but in looking at this from a quality-for-price perspective, I'm ok with the expense for the quality you get. The only outstanding question is how this holds up over time - i.e. years 2, 3, 4...Overall, I highly recommend this keyboard./** Update **/ I'm 15 months in now and this keyboard is still like new. All the keys still work as expected and there isn't a spec of wear on the letters or numbers on the keys. Can't recommend enough... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente producto *by on Reviewed in Mexico 11 August 2026* Recomendado muy buena calidad, le dura mucho la carga, me a ayudado mucho en mi trabajo ## Frequently Bought Together - Logitech MX Keys Mini Minimalist Wireless Illuminated Keyboard, Compact, Bluetooth, Backlit, USB-C, Compatible with Apple macOS, iOS, Windows, Linux, Android, Metal Build - Graphite - Logitech MX Master 3S - Performance Wireless Mouse with Ultra-fast Scrolling, Ergo, 8K DPI, Track on Glass, Quiet Clicks, Bluetooth, Windows, Linux, Chrome - Graphite - Lebakort Hard Carry Case Compatible with Logitech MX Keys Mini Minimalist Illuminated Keyboard (Graphite Case) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/722957153-dks-wi9erwqew3w4r1032ter](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/722957153-dks-wi9erwqew3w4r1032ter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
