It features classic nickel hardware with black binding and nickel corner guards. The dual lock-down latches help keep dust and moisture out. It looks sturdy but not sure how long the handles will last. I love that it has wheels and they seem sturdy. There were no nicks or scratches on it when it arrived. The packaging was very protective. At first it seems small but it holds more than you think. But don’t fill it until you place it where you want it. I just don’t trust the handles.

**Q: How long, wide and tall is it?**
A: The trunk measures on the inside 29 1/4 L x 15 W x 8 3/4 D The trunk measures on the outside 30 L x 15 1/4 W x 12 1/4 D ( lid closed)Include wheels and the trunk stands 12 3/4

**Q: Does it really weigh 20 pounds?**
A: I never weighed it but it really is light weight.Like another poster said it is kind of cheap and I only use it for storage in a bedroom and don't even use the lock.  If I were traveling a lot with it I would get a more expensive locker.  It fits my needs for my situation and is cheap and looks fine.

**Q: Is it made out of sturdy wood? Will it take a hefty beating?**
A: It's not made of wood but is very sturdy. We bought it for my daughter to use for summer camp. It's been perfect for that purpose. Otherwise it's been stored in the attic. So it has not been used daily. Hope that helps!

**Q: Can you sit on it?  how much weight can it withstand?**
A: Not much. Not a good seat

This trunk is more attractive than I thought it would be. The color purple matches other items well, the chrome is attractive. It looks sturdy but not sure how long the handles will last. I had one of these from this same company in black already, albeit without wheels. I love the look and that these trunks hold a lot of stuff. They can also double as tables or an extra place to sit. So I decided to get another one for another space. The wheel feature didn't end up being particularly useful for me as I wanted the second one to store props, some of which are breakable so I can't really be picking up the trunk and wheeling it about with that inside. Also, since the wheels have to take up space on the interior for the trunk to still sit flat, you lose a bit of space on that end. Overall though, it's a great trunk!
