Review: Let your motorcycle feel the Josh!!! - From the beginning I've been using mineral oil for my bike FZ16, the Yamaha people at service center insist you to pour yamalube which really sucks! then I started SHELL pure synthetic and the bike feels good, smooth and soft gear shifting and that costs me about 800 bucks. The human nature, we never satisfy and put my money for this 300V from Motul..NOW!! no words man!! it's 15W50 ( assuming you already know about oil grades ) oil and perfect for 150cc and above engines specially in summers. The temperature is rising year by year and this 15W50 sounds perfect for your bike. Smooth gear shift, soft clutch functioning, change in the engine sound and much more you feel while you ride your motorcycle after pouring this oil. The oil color is GREEN as the general color for engine oils are golden or yellow. Motul has 3 series 5100, 7100 and 300V (premium) , the pricing vary just according to the quality. Doesn't mean that 5100 is inferior but every brand categorize their product catalogue for various budget customers. I insist you for 300V throw it into your your bike's oil tank at least once to know and feel the real difference. It's a pure synthetic oil, left from any kind of impurities that already extracted in the refineries during manufacturing process ( each of us knows ) and the engines love them. Pure synthetic oils are expensive no matter what brand it is but this 300V from Motul is par at excellence. I bought it at 1100/- rupees from a local shop :( because I was in hurry. Now desertcart is offering tremendous discount therefore I already bought it for my future use :). PS: No manufacturer tells you to change the oil in this or that much KMs, if you pour expensive Engine oil your motorcycle would go 10000 km or if you pour the cheap one change every 3000 km.. this is bulls***. A company representative told me. It's about oil quality not about their life. Check your engine oil using dipstick ( cap on the top of engine tank from where you pour the engine oil ), take few drops in your palm and check for its thickness, color and smoothness. If it's thin enough and feels rough time to change it man!! If my review could help your buying decision please give me a thumbs up friends :)

## Questions & Answers

**Q: motorcycle oil???**
A: I use for my Ducati, so for me it is a motorcycle oil. Motul also makes full synth for automobiles, so if you are changing oil on a car you could get that. I use the 10w40 on a 1997 Mercedes with over 200k miles and have low oil consumption with the Motul

**Q: is there any reason i shoulnt use this in my boat?**
A: It's not designed for that operation additives are wrong they do make a product for that.

**Q: Can l used this oil for a 2013 ducati streetfighter? If so how miuch do l need**
A: I highly recommend this product. I have a 2004 Hayden edition Honda RC51 (57.7k mi) and I have been using Motul 300V 4T 15W-50 oil for the past few years. I put in about 5k mi/yr if I'm lucky, but the bike always runs smooth and strong and burns no oil at all. I bought this bike 2nd hand with 3.5k miles and have always used good oil, regular petroleum until about 10-12k then switched to synthetic. I have used Mobil 1 20w-50 and Amsoil motorcycle 20w-50 for a few years each before switching to Motul. I switched because a trusted friend mentioned that although Amsoil is excellent and is always at the top of any comparison test, they've found that it contains too much zinc (I believe), which is not good for certain metals over the life of the engine. I did take the valve covers off at about 35k to do the shims and everything was spotless, literally like new, and the shims were just barely over the service limit. I always liked Motul because I had good luck with the 800 2T premix in my 2-stroke dirtbikes, but now I can confirm that they make excellent high performance 4 stroke oil as well. I live in a desert environment here in Tucson, AZ and I change the oil once a year and it is always still relatively clean. Good oil is a little pricey, but for me it is a small expense relative to the proverbial insurance provided from knowing your doing the best you can to protect your engine. The Ducati Streetfighter is a newer generation big high-performance v-twin with pistons roughly the same size as a Chevy 350 small block, this product is well worth the extra expense with an investment like that. Weight really depends on mileage, I would stick with 10w-40 until your in the 30k+ neighborhood.

**Q: Is it good for wet clutches?**
A: It should be fine for a wet clutch it's designed for 4 stroke sport bikes don't ever use car oil on your wet clutch bike FYI

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's keep My Bike Engine Cool
*by R***N on 21 May 2024*

I was searching for Good High Viscosity Engine oil for my Royal Enfield Meteor 350. There were several options but I got stuck between Liqui Moly and Motul 300V and later decided to buy this one. Yes, it reduces my bike vibration tuck noise and best of all it keeps my Bike Engine which was big big issue for me. Extremely recommended during Summer Times for your Bike Engine Life Span
