Never mind that boys are the ones carrying around trucks, cars, water guns, etc., it makes no sense to me that "boyish" or at least non-gender specific bike baskets are so hard to find and/or expensive.Another reviewer complained that the logo on this basket was tied only with cheap zip-ties. Well, to my purpose that was actually perfect. I simply removed the logo by cutting the two (truly cheap) zip-ties and used my own better-quality and bigger size zip-ties to attach the basket to my son's bike (it is also true, as other reviews say, that this comes with two flimsy ties to attach the basket to the bike, that would probably only last a couple of laps around the block)Although I used the bell for my daughter's bike (my son's already had one), its bubbly sticker could be removed (with a little bit of work, though, it seems well attached) or covered with another round sticker (sticker measures 1.5" in diameter) if you want to use it for a boy as well.All and all this worked perfect for what I wanted it and seems to be of the same quality level as most kids bike baskets I've seen in this price range. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Needed a plain black basket, this did the trick after the Monster High emblems were easily removed. *by D***M on Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2017* I bought this set because I needed a plain black basket for my daughter's bike and I couldn't find one anywhere. We have no interest in Monster High, but I saw in previous reviews that the Monster High emblems could be easily removed. Indeed, the emblem on the basket was only held on by zip ties that were easily snipped off, and the sticker on the bell came off without any problems. She now has a plain black basket and plain black bell that properly accent her bike without any trace of Monster High (though that may be a turn off for many other buyers). ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Bell was broken but my child still loves it. I love the basket but read other reviews so I knew the Basket sticker was Zip tied on and the zip-ties would not work well. My daughter said she was ok with the broken bell as it still has the logo on it.
