There's a screw underneath that which needs to be adjusted along with the 2 tiny hex screws on side for dovetail. Do all 3 together for best clamping. **Q: Will this fit a remington 760** A: This looks like the sight for a .22 with the grooved receiver. It will not fit the 760. The WGRS 742 will fit a 760 if it is drilled and tapped for a scope base. Would use the existing holes. It does not adjust in the same way as this sight (no target knobs), not as refined. They used to make one that adjusts like this called the 740 AP that fit a 760 if it was drilled and tapped. Not sure if it’s available anymore.
