It requires a regulated 12.60 volt power supply. If you exceed this voltage you WILL damage the battery pack. Lithium-ion ICR cells do not tolerate over voltage charging above 4.2 volts per cell and will overheat and vent. The cells in these battery packs are not IC protected cells. These battery packs consist of 6 Samsung ICR1860 cells in a parallel series configuration and they do work great but To charge it from your vehicle or any other source you will need a 12.60 volt regulated output power supply. Caution- Warning..... Please be careful! I work with lithium-ion battery packs all the time. Under certain conditions you can create a fire so be careful!
